Digital Preservation & Archiving Policy

The UCP Journal of Humanities & Social Sciences is committed to the long-term preservation and availability of its published content. To ensure permanent and uninterrupted access to all published articles, the journal employs the following digital preservation strategies:

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): The journal is enrolled in the PKP Preservation Network, which provides decentralized, distributed preservation of all published content through the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system.

OJS Native Archiving: All content is hosted and archived on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform maintained by the University of Central Punjab, ensuring institutional-level preservation.

Author Self-Archiving: Authors are permitted to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or subject-based repositories (such as SSRN or ResearchGate) immediately upon publication, in accordance with the journal's open-access policy and CC BY license.

In the event of journal discontinuation, all published content will remain permanently accessible through the above-mentioned preservation systems.
