Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy
The UCP Journal of Business Perspectives is committed to the long-term preservation and continued accessibility of its published content, in the event that the journal or its publisher is unable to continue operations.
To safeguard against loss of access, the journal preserves its content through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a distributed digital preservation service built on the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS frameworks. Every issue published on the journal's OJS platform is automatically archived across a decentralized network of participating libraries, ensuring that dark archives of all content remain permanently accessible even if the journal website becomes unavailable.
All published content also remains permanently available on the journal's own website archive (ojs.ucp.edu.pk/index.php/jbp/index), where every issue and article is retained and freely accessible without time restriction.
In addition, authors are permitted to self-archive their published work including the final published version in institutional repositories, personal websites, or subject-based repositories, in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license under which the article was published.
In the unlikely event that the journal ceases publication, all previously published content will remain permanently and freely accessible through these preservation and self-archiving arrangements, in line with the journal's commitment to open access.
